Owning their learning

A: This fortnight, I’ve really learnt to appreciate the importance of stating what U:PASS is, particularly that its facilitated learning with a heavy focus on peer interaction and making this clear at the beginning and sustaining this throughout. What has been really rewarding over these two weeks was seeing the more regular students stepping up and guiding discussion and automatically responding to peer questions without me having to generally ask “can anyone help with so-and-so’s question?”.It’s really rewarding to see them take ownership of their own learning!
